Make Your Own Gin – Booking Terms and Conditions

By booking a Make Your Own Gin session with Beyond Distilling, you agree to the following terms:

Cancellations and refunds

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
• Changes to the booking date may be requested at least 48 hours before the session and are subject to availability.
• Guests who do not attend their booked session will not receive a refund or credit.
• Refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Any non-refundable booking or transaction fees charged by a third-party booking provider may be deducted.
• We understand that unexpected circumstances occur. Requests made within 48 hours may be considered at Beyond Distilling’s discretion, but a refund or transfer is not guaranteed.

Late arrivals

Please arrive 10 minutes before the advertised starting time. The session involves a structured distillation process and must begin on time.

Guests arriving late may miss part of the experience. Guests arriving more than 30 minutes after the starting time may be unable to participate and will not be entitled to a refund.

Age and identification

• All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid photographic identification may be required.
• Anyone unable to provide acceptable identification when requested may be refused participation without a refund.

Responsible service of alcohol

Beyond Distilling supports the responsible service of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service or participation to anyone who appears intoxicated, behaves aggressively or unsafely, or fails to follow staff instructions. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

Participants are responsible for arranging safe transport after the session and must not drive if affected by alcohol.

Health, allergies and safety

The experience may involve alcohol, botanicals, citrus, spices, seeds and other potential allergens. Participants must advise our team of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or accessibility requirements before the session.

Guests must follow all safety instructions while using the distillation equipment. Beyond Distilling may stop a guest from operating equipment if their actions create a safety risk.

Your gin

Each participant will create and distil their own gin using the ingredients and equipment supplied during the session. The final flavour, aroma, appearance and volume may vary depending on the recipe selected and the distillation process.

Gin produced during the session is for personal use and must not be resold.

Changes or cancellation by Beyond Distilling

Beyond Distilling may reschedule or cancel a session due to insufficient bookings, staff illness, equipment failure, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel a session, guests may choose either:

• A transfer to another available session; or
• A full refund of the session booking price.

Beyond Distilling is not responsible for associated travel, accommodation or other personal expenses, except where required by law.

Minimum numbers

Sessions may require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not reached, we may contact guests to offer an alternative date or a full refund.

Damage to property

Participants may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing equipment or property damaged through deliberate misuse or failure to follow staff instructions.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
